  did jesus really exist??

  i wonder if jesus did exist?i just wanted to know if having faith that he did is enough,i mean i like to have you know concrete proof about things and there isnt much proof he existed except that in the bible,maybe he was just another wannabe prophet,just think what people believe in today like faith healers they supposedly have healing powers,believers claim to be healed then later resume back to there normal condition etc etc.

  is it all in there mind and they want it to be real they believe it so much that they think there cured even though there not you see wat im getting at people might of thought about jesus the same way like maybe looking for a hope in this healer or prophet and then claiming to be better because they were maybe over emotional about jesus.

  do all go to heaven?

  i dont know if you have heard of this one but in revelation it talks about the great crowd standing before the throne rendering sacred service day and night,so what i did is looked in other translations about this and it says great crowd r before the throne in heaven literally and not in a symbolic sense as jws view it.in the greek interlinear i think it uses the word (naos or hieron)and renders it as being literal but surely wouldnt that be upto the translators discernment.does anyone have anymore info on this ta!

  Is there a god module in the brain!!!!

  i recently read that certain patients who have damaged their brain in an accident or even had epelectic fits etc have for the first time in their life had a religious experience due to a certain region of the brain being sought of activated which deals with divine experiences or god.

  some have even written in depth writings about there visions some have also claimed to be called by god so this made me think about abilities like maths,language,taste etc these are also preset into us arent they otherwise how else could learn to do these things so then are we preset to worship god.

  aha so we are sought of like a computer with software programmed into us,so if so do we worship through free will or through a preprogrammed god module ????

  Genetic jehovahs witnesses ??????????

  i was wondering about all the hype on genes being passed on through generations for instance say your parents are agressive,violent,alcholics, manic deppresion sufferers etc and now your waiting for it "jehovahs witnesses" could this also be passed on to there kids you through the genes and if so will my kid wanna be a jw "oh no", i reckon this genetic thing is frightening sob sob !!!!!!!!

  p.s just remember most jws come from existing parents i think you know like the mormons haha!!!

  master chief ponders over the meaning of life??

  yes what is the meaning of life?

  if the answer lies in religion why is it so difficult to say make a correct understanding of say the bible which i find is full of symbolisms and prophecys etc.

  and then someone always comes along with there interpretation of it and then is there understanding correct and to back up there interpretation the say there blessed by god huh???

  are dating methods accurate??

  questions questions im just wondering are modern day dating methods reliable i ask this because i was told there are different types of dating methods to test fossils etc for instance testing bones which using dating methods say 10 yrs ago are now classed unreliable i say this because i was told that historians dated human remains back to 20 million yrs i think and with a more modern technique it s now dated at only 5000 yrs i think so the question is can we trust todays modern dating methods or will they sometime in the near future be more accurate

  Paranoid about death and im only 31????

  dont get me wrong im a really happy guy and live an exciting life but since i was about 20 iv always thought about how frightening the reality of death is it really bugs me ill give you an example im really young now of course and then i might walk passed a graveyard and even look at the stones and then i think that will be me one day.

  but i cant imagine being dead i want to live forever and all i want to know is do you think the dead are conscious of nothing or is there life after death.

  iv got this idea though see what you make of it, i think that r bodys are just shells and are life is in us and when we die we go to another realm maybe heaven etc i thought of this because angels can supposedly materialize in to human form and viceversa so what do you think people is there really life after death

  how long has man lived on the earth????

  i was speaking recently to a jw and we talked about various topics and then i asked her about how long man has lived on the earth she said according to reliable history she said about 6000 years which begining with adam and eve, but what i have learned through external research that reliable history dates man back to millions of years she then said you shouldnt trust dating methods huh so i said the watchtower is keen to use history to show favour to the bible but then dismisses it when it opposes it, so she said they cant prove it so then i said she cant prove her theories she said i can its from bible "huh is she real" she said you must have faith in the bible.but anyway thats jws for u.

  1 more thing i was told there has been other civilisations previous to adam and eve does anyone know more about this

  why choose jehovahs witnesses????

  i was wondering what appeals to most about choosing to become a jw so i would like to leave you with some questions to answer (and yes this is serious q1.was it due to family q2.due to depression or loss of a loved one q3.looking for a purpose in life q4.everlatsing life q5.drugs or alcohol or mental illness q6.lack of bible understanding q7.easily persuaded q8.needed friends well thats alll 4 now i am just trying to find out what religious people have in common, because i seem to notice alot of religious people i know seem to have the same personality traits such as depression,mental illness,weird,very boring,insane,narrow minded,and you know the rest i guess?

  Does god approve of cyber congregations

  you know what ever since leaving the congregation i wonder if the elders will forward my details to a cyber congregation you know like they do when you move yeh it would be grate then i could telll people i still congregate with others and upbuild them hmmmmmmm i wonder if they would though hmmmmm hang on but i wouldnt get to see all my brothers ansd sisters (like i miss them so much) aww and i would miss giving talks and being false to false people and wait what about the excellent asssemblys and all that clapping excercises as well hmmm illl think this over
